@dad I've seen all sorts of arguments against it but they all seem to come down to personal preference. You could always ask opal to spell it out for you if you're really interested, I don't take this particular subject very seriously.

If enough instances depend on Cloudflare then that part of the network is essentially centralised in their hands. Also, I've heard it hurts federation somehow (as @wowaname pointed out).
